How to not procrastinate! on Prezi

• What did you learn about Prezi?
• So I thought that Prezi was actually going to be kind of difficult.  Not so much difficult as just time consuming to get anything done.  I was impressed how quickly I began to see it come together and how I had it finished in no time. 
• What instructional problems could you use this technology for?
•  To replace normal powerpoints occasionally to break up the normal routine.  To allow students to make presentations that are interesting and creative while they don't have to be overly creative.  I think another option, since it's free, is that students without access to computers at home know that if they can access a computer anywhere else they can use this technology.  Also, sometimes it is really good for controlling the process of thoughts- it helps the thoughts focus and I think the motion can help express the idea of connecting to something else or moving away from a point.
• What are 2-3 activities you could use this technology for in your own teaching? List the instructional standards if you can identify them.
• A character exploration with charts and diagrams and pictures of characters in a novel.
• Instructional Standard?  I think this is talking about characters and how they influence you.
• Another activity could be for a quiz- where the questions are spaced out so you can't see them until you move to the next slide.  If you wanted you could design the path so that in going to a question it might whiz past some clues to help your students.
